Loni's mother, Ruth, died yesterday morning at 3:45 am. She had a long struggle with her failing body, was tough and stoic throughout. Memorial service Thursday, with internment in Henderson next to Loni's dad, Ray. Excellent help at this end by McCormick's Mortuary in Laguna Hills. Utterly lousy assistance by her "pre-need" contracted mortuary-cemetary in Henderson: Palm. Clueless and unresponsive. That's what happens when they have long had your money.

Mom was a special, classy lady....loved by all. Sure do miss her, and her beautiful smile and sunny disposition. She had much knowledge about life, very wise and loving. May we all remember the lessons she so graciously and humbly taught us.
